davidii, but with longer crawling rhizomes.
Named after Wen-Pei Fang, a Chinese botanist who has spent more than
50 years studying the flora of Emei Shan . There are about 3000
plant species to be found.
The Emei Shan (Mount Emei) is also home to E. acuminatum, E.
fangii and their hybrid E. x omeiense.

Named after a French missionary named Paul Guillaume Farges, who
collected this plant in 1894 in China.
